This assessor portal is a secure on-line tool that enables NVLAP assessors to access all relevant records needed to plan and conduct assessments and record their findings.

IMPORTANT: The NIWS authentication process has changed.
NVLAP has implemented Login.gov to further strengthen the confidentiality and security of the NVLAP Interactive Web System (NIWS) portal.
You must have an active NVLAP assessor account and a Login.gov account under the same email that is listed in your NVLAP account in order to access the NIWS Assessor Portal. If you need additional information on how to register for Login.gov, instructions are available HERE.
Once you have a Login.gov account, follow the instructions below to login:
- Click the Login button below. This will forward you to Login.gov.
- Log in to your Login.gov account. You will be redirected to the NIWS home page after login.
- Then you are on the NIWS home page.
